Who We Are

The Kosovo American Education Fund is administered by American Councils for International Education, with the guidance of an advisory committees, consisting of individuals based in Kosovo, and in the United States.

KAEF Committee

The U.S. KAEF Committee is made up of academics, businessmen, civic leaders, KAEF alumni, and former government officials with a knowledge of Kosovo and / or the American Higher Educational system. It oversees the general direction of the program and the management of the KAEF endowment.

Staff

On a day-to-day level, KAEF is administered by the staff of American Councils for International Education. American Councils' staff are responsible for implementing the vision of the two KAEF committees and for responding to questions and concerns from KAEF applicants or other stakeholders.

Please Note: Neither the KAEF committee, nor American Councils staff, have any influence over the selection process for KAEF fellows. Selection for the KAEF program is conducted by an independent group of admissions experts drawn from universities across the United States. This group reviews all application materials and is solely responsible for awarding fellowships.
