A Note from the KAEF Committee Co-Chairs: On Reaching the First Milestone

We are writing to share the good news that since the launch of our 'Kosovo's Future Begins with Education' campaign we have reached 20% of our goal. This milestone corresponds to covering the full tuition of one KAEF fellow for an academic year at one of our partner universities. On behalf of the KAEF Committee, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported this campaign financially and to every person who has worked tirelessly in making this campaign a reality.

To harvest economic prosperity, we must increase the opportunity for everyone to participate in the economic activity. At KAEF, we believe this is best facilitated by equipping our youth with marketable skills through an inclusive and equitable education process. We are driven by our commitment to secure the economic development of Kosovo by enhancing a cadre of highly trained individuals who work towards solving the most pressing issues facing our country and ensuring a prosperous future for all. Through a rigorous and merit-based process, we assemble the best candidates that, aided by the KAEF education, are prepared to lead lives while making a lasting contribution and impact on our society.

Through the “Kosovo’s Future Begins with Education” campaign, we hope to raise $50,000 which will enable us to expand our reach to more students from around Kosovo and offer graduate scholarships that will in return allow them to create productive and competitive enterprises and contribute to job creation. Reaching our first milestone within the first month of the campaign is impressive, considering the dire economic situation we are currently living in. This success is a testament to the program’s impeccable reputation over the years, and the support of each alumni, friend, and partner company that understand the value of making an investment in education.

However, we must focus on both short-term and long-term solutions that will give Kosovo the competitive advantage in the international landscape. Our goal is to ensure sustainability of KAEF to assist the long-term prosperity and state-building process of Kosovo. This campaign is an important step towards it. Please remember that no donation is small. With your help, we will get closer to the finish line and inspire others to step forward for our country’s greatest asset - our youth. Therefore, we invite you to join us in this campaign as we together affirm that Kosovo’s Future Begins with Education!

Thank you,
